Hi, I’m Gemma Douglas…
Breathwork facilitator, nervous system coach, and wellness educator.
I teach people how to use their breath as a tool to reset, reconnect, and restore. With years of training and lived experience, I blend science-backed tools with practical, accessible guidance to support individuals, teams, and communities.
Whether it’s managing stress, building resilience, improving performance, or simply feeling more grounded—your breath is the key. I believe your breath is your remote control for your nervous system, and once you learn how to use it, everything changes.
I work with schools, workplaces, high-performing athletes, and everyday humans—offering 1:1 coaching, group workshops, online programs, and transformational events. I’ve guided World Champions and teenagers, supported anxious kids and coached women and men navigating the intensity of motherhood and midlife.
My qualifications include:
Wim Hof Method Certified Instructor
Oxygen Advantage Certified Instructor
Soma Breath Certified Instructor
Pranayama Certified Instructor
Certified NLP Practitioner
Diploma in Professional Coaching
Diploma in Teaching
Reiki Level 3
MusB (Otago University)
Beyond the certifications, I’m a mother of three, living on an apple orchard in Hawke’s Bay. I’m also a published author (Standing on the Edge of Motherhood), a former Southern Sting provincial netballer, and the founder of The Motherhood Project NZ—a global community of over 200,000 women.
I bring real-life experience, heart, and deep respect for the individuality of every nervous system I work with. Whether you're looking to sleep better, handle pressure more effectively, or rediscover a sense of inner calm—I'll help you breathe your way there.
